Complete UDP control of the Bettear Caster Auracast® broadcast transmitter from Crestron® control systems, built as a native SIMPL+ module for SIMPL Windows.

What it controls:

Full per-channel gain control, 0.5 dB resolution (−12 dB to +32 dB)

Mute, high-pass filtering, and channel linking for stereo operation

Broadcast preset (Low/Med/High) and broadcast type (Stereo/Dual Mono)

Global low-pass filtering, AGC, antenna selection, and broadcast encryption

TX power adjustment and LED display mode/blink control

Automatic reboot handling, with full device status feedback — online state, firmware version, and live error reporting

Requirements

Crestron 3-Series® or 4-Series® processor

SIMPL Windows with SIMPL+ Cross Compiler

Bettear Caster firmware v1.4.1 or higher

Network connectivity to Caster over UDP (port 9000)

Built directly against the Bettear Caster API, this module drops into existing SIMPL Windows programs with minimal custom logic.
